Meldale is a coastal locality that is located 48 kilometers or 30 miles north of Brisbane which is the state capital of Queensland, Australia. In the 2011 census, the locality has recorded a population of 362 people where 43% were female and 57% where male.

The locality of Meldale is surrounded by Donnybrook in the north, northwestern, and western part while Toorbul is its neighbor in the southwestern and western side. Meanwhile, Pumicestone Passage surrounds the locality in the southeastern and eastern parts while Welsby is crowding the locality in the northeastern part.
