Joyner is a suburb of Moreton Bay Region, Queensland, Australia. It is located to the north of Brisbane and is surrounding the following suburbs: Whiteside, Petrie, Lawnton, Bray Park, Warner, and Cashmere. The suburb is located to the east of Lake Samsonvale.

The suburb originally had the name Harrisons Pocket before the modern day adaptation and implementation of the name Joyner. The suburb got its name from the Joyner family. The members of the Joyner family were among the first inhabitants of the area.

Joyner’s Forgan Road runs along Lake Samsonvale‘s eastern shore and gives access to popular fishing and picnic spots. The most notable feature of the area is the North Pine Dam and Treatment Plan which is responsible for supplying a significant volume of potable water to the region.
