Griffin is a suburb in the Moretion Bay Region in Queensland, Australia. It is located 24km from Brisbane and is surrounded by the following suburbs: Kallangur, Mango Hill, Clontarf, Brighton, Bald Hills, and Murrumba Downs.

The suburb’s name originated from the Griffin family. The Griffin family migrated from the Orkney Islands off the northern coast of Scotland to Australia. Griffin contains not just residential but also agricultural land usage. The suburb is also home to a number of recreational, boating, and fishing facilities along the northern shore of the Pine River.

The Pine River diverges into the North Pine and South Pine rivers farther inland. The Osprey House is an environmental centre located along the Pine River in the suburb. The centre features visitor facilities such as displays, boardwalks, and a bird hide among others.
