The Commissioners Flat is a locality that can be found in the Moreton Bay Region in Queensland, Australia. The locality’s eastern border is marked by the Stanley River while the Peachester State Forest occupies the eastern half of the locality’s total land area. It is also surrounded by the following suburbs: Stanmore, Cedarton, Peachester, Woodford, and Glass House Mountains.

Historically, the Commissioners Flat was named after Stephen Simpson, the former Queensland commissioner of lands, who used the area of the locality as a campsite in the mid-19th century. In normal rules of English grammar, it would suggest that the locality name should be spelled with a possessive apostrophe. However, in the official titles of place names in Queensland, it does not include that particular punctuation.
