Banksia Beach is a suburb of Moreton Bay Region, Queensland, Australia and can be found approximately 49km north of Brisbane. Banksia Beach is surrounded by the Pumicestone Passage and the suburbs Woorim, and Bellara.

The suburb is found on Bribie Island, the smallest and most northerly of the three major islands that form around the coastline which shelters the northern part of Moreton Bay, Queensland, Australia. The name Banksia Beach came from the plant genus “banksia”, which grows in the area.

Banksia Beach is home to Banksia Beach State School which was established in January 1992. In 2013, the school was named an Independent Public School to recognize the high-quality educational opportunities offered to students in the areas of academia, sport, music, and citizenship. Some streets that can be found in the suburb include Albatross Court and Yorkshire Drive.
