Albany Creek is one of the suburbs in the Moreton Bay Region, Queensland, Australia. It is located 17km northwest of Brisbane, Australia and is about a half an hour drive to the Brisbane central business district. Other suburbs that surround Albany Creek are Warner, Brendale, Bald Hills, Bridgeman Downs, McDowall, Bunya, and Eatons Hill. 

The suburb is located north of Brisbane in the Moreton Bay Regional Council and is positioned on a small hill which runs down to the South Pine River. Albany Creek is located to the west of Bridgeman Downs and to the east of Eatons Hill. The suburb was initially a rural area, but in the 1960s, it began to develop as a suburban area as the Brisbane metropolitan area expanded. 

Albany Creek has three main shopping centres which include Woolworths, Aldi, and a Centro Albany Creek that hosts a Coles supermarket. Aside from these shopping centres, there are also other shopping facilities that are located along Albany Creek Road. Albany Creek is serviced by several Brisbane Transport bus routes and the nearest railway station is Strathpine.
