Ningi is a town and locality in the Moreton Bay Region, Queensland, Australia. The suburb is surrounded by numerous other suburbs: Caboolture, Toorbul, Banksia Beach, Bellara, Sandstone Point, Godwin Beach, and Beachmere. Ningi’s northern boundary is aligned with Ningi Creek.

 Ningi Island is located to the northeast, where the Creek enters Pumicestone Passage. The Ningi Creek Conservation Park has been established in the west of Ningi as well. Ningi’s main township is located on Bribie Island Road. The suburb has three housing estates: Bribie Pines in the northern area, Grey Gums Estate on the road out to Godwin Beach, and the newly developed Sandstone Lakes. 

The suburb is surrounded by developments ranging from acreage to half acre blocks many of which are classified as rural residential as well as rural properties and state forests. Its name originated from the Aboriginal Undabi clan, the “Ningi Ningi”, whose name meant “oysters.” Ningi has a medieval festival, WWII bunkers, and an Aboriginal Bora ring.
