Clontarf is a suburb of the Moreton Bay Region, Queensland, Australia. It is located southwest of the Redcliffe peninsula and is approximately located 29km north-northeast of Brisbane, the state capital. The suburbs surrounding Clontarf are Rothwell, Kippa-Ring, Margate, and Woody Point. It is also surrounded by Hays Inlet and Bramble Bay. 

The suburb was named after Clontarf in Ireland. The land is a mix of residential and light industrial. Clontarf is connected to Brisbane City and across Bramble Bay by the Houghton Highway. The Houghton Highway is 2.7km long and provides access to Redcliffe City’s southern tip. Aside from Houghton Highway, Clontarf also has the Ted Smout Memorial Bridge. Clontarf has three schools: Clontarf Beach State High School, Clontarf Beach State School, and Grace Lutheran Primary School. 

The suburb has one heritage-listed site: Hornibrook Bridge, the first bridge in the suburb. Clontarf Beach and Bells Beach are among the beaches in the suburb that are nearest to Brisbane. The suburb is also home to Pelican Park which is known for its kite flying conditions.
